Casafont: 100% box in a box
Structurally, the recording studio Casafont is formed by three boxes, which correspond to:
- structure of the building,
- inner structure of the studio,
- second inner structure of isolation.
In building the studio, the box in a box design approach has completely been respected. At all times, the purpose has always been uncoupling the different structural boxes. Thus:
- in the windows, there are three glasses, one for each wall,
- in the access to the studio area there are two acoustic doors: one for the concrete inner structure, and the other one for the second inner insulation structure. The third door corresponds to the main entrance.
- the ceiling of the inner isolation structure has been uncoupled using elastic rubber supports.
- the inner walls of the inner isolation structure have also been uncoupled with elastic rubber supports.
- the floating floor has been made using textile press.
